The 2009 LKA Sleepy Hollow Sprint Track RulesSleepy Hollow Raceway is Lubbock's premiere asphalt Sprint karting course, hosting events on the second weekend every month. We Have classes for Juniors from ages 5 to 15 such as Baby Kart class, Rookie Briggs Class w Purple Restrictor 235lbs, Junior Briggs Class w Gold Restrictor 300lbs and Junior 80cc Shifter. Senior classes 16 years and up Senior Briggs Lite 330lbs, Senior Briggs Heavy 360lbs, Senior Yamaha 340lbs , Rotax Senior 365lbs or Leopard Tag 370 YHC, or MOJO D1, & MG Yellow Tires, TAG USA 360lbs for Leopards and TAG-USA tire rules. 80cc Senior Shifter no weight, and 125cc Senior Shifter no weight. Overhead valve 4 stroke class 350 lbs B44A Burris Tires. There must be 3 or more karts too make a class. All karts must cross the scales at the end of each heat or no points will be awarded. It takes 3 karts to make a class. LKA Sleepy Hollow Sprint Track entry fees are $25.00 per entry pit pass included for LKA Members and $35.00 per entry pit pass included for non members. If a driver enters 2 class the second entry fee will be 5.00 cheaper because no pit pass will be purchased. 2. All Briggs Classes Must run RLV #4104 Silencers 3. All LKA Briggs Classes, Junior and Senior & Yamaha Classes will run Burris B44A 4. Tag-Rotax classes will run Bridgestone YHC or MOJO D1 , MG Yellows, 4.50 x 5 fronts and 7.10 x 5 rear Rotax weigh 365 lbs and Leopard weigh 370 lbs 5. TAG-USA Class will run Bridgestone YHC, Burris 55A or 44A, Continental CAB, Dunlop DBM, MG Yellow, or Vega Blue(SL5). Leopard weigh 360 lbs 6. Shifters are open tire 7. All weights must be bolted on with a minimum bolt diameter of 5/16 and the nuts must be safety wired or cotter pinned. The double nut process is not allowed. The weight must be painted white and have the kart number or drivers name on it. 8. All Briggs Classes will run by IKF & WKA engine tech Rules. 9. The Rotax Class will run by the Rotax International Rules. 10. All oil should be placed in the barrels that are located by the scoring tower. Absolutely no dumping of oil on the ground. |
